1. Who we are

TradePilot AI ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered crypto-futures signal and analysis app. Contact: support@tradepilot.link.

2. Data we collect

Account data — name (optional), email address and a hashed password when you register.
Device data — a random device identifier, device name/platform and IP address, used for account security (device limits, trial-abuse prevention and suspicious-login detection).
Binance API keys (optional) — if you connect your Binance account, we store your READ-ONLY API key and secret encrypted at rest (Fernet/AES). These keys cannot place orders or move funds. You can delete them at any time in the app.
Usage data — your journal entries, risk settings and in-app preferences you create yourself.
AI chat content — messages you send to the AI Assistant are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a reply; we do not use them for advertising.

3. What we do NOT do

We never sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
We never receive withdrawal or trading permissions on your exchange account.
We do not show third-party ads and do not use advertising trackers.

4. How we use data

To operate the service (authentication, signals, portfolio views), to secure accounts (device limits, abuse prevention), to provide AI features, and to improve reliability (aggregate, non-personal metrics such as scan health).

5. Where data lives

Data is stored on our backend hosted on Railway (cloud infrastructure) with an encrypted PostgreSQL database. Market data comes from Binance's public API. AI features are processed by Anthropic's Claude API.

6. Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account (and all associated data, including API keys, devices and journal entries) from Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by emailing us. Deletion is irreversible.

7. Security

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes; exchange secrets are encrypted at rest; all traffic uses HTTPS/TLS. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

8. Children

TradePilot AI is not directed at anyone under 18. Trading derivatives is an adults-only activity.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
